This week and last week has been mainly consisting of adding final touches to the scene and characters.
Placeholder assets have been tweaked and re-imported, such as trees, tileable textures, lighting and many others. I spent quite a long time posing my characters ready to be placed into the scenes, as we have decided that instead of having fully rigged characters which would take a considerable amount of time, we are now going to pose the characters for the Game Art hand in, just to show what the characters will be doing in the scene ready for the final OTM hand in.
Below are some screenshots of my characters posed in various ways, such as an idle pose, sleeping and singing.

Carrying on from this, we have begun adding storyline features into the game, which experiment with characters using interactive text boxes when approached, below you can see an example of this occuring when approaching a character. (Note: animation and text are both still placeholder).

These are some screenshots of how our level is looking so far!

Next week will be spent working on my essays and portfolio, and also rendering all of my work and preparing it for hand-in on Friday the 29th.
