Week 23: Re-topology and basic assets

This week I have mainly been concentrating on finishing my character models. I have re-topologised both Demetrius and Bottom and have almost finished unwrapping them both ready to begin texturing.

Both models are just under around 8,000 tris, and I'm happy with the level of details that they have, though this could easily be highered or lowered if necessary.

Along with this, I have started to make a few simple foliage assets. I made some ground decoration items and a few basic stylised trees.

The trees are not yet finished but the textures below serve as a basic placeholder texture which will be improved on as I start working on more assets.

Next week is the assessed presentations, so I will be spending some of next week working on my poster and presentation, but apart from this I am hoping to have my characters fully textured and some more assets as a work in progress.
