Yr2 Week 5: Film room progress

I was hoping for a more relaxed week this week, as I had almost finally finished all of my assets, but unfortunately this wasn't the case. This blog post may seem a little like a rant, as I have been incredibly stressed this week with all of the extra work and trying to balance this with other personal things I need to be doing, though hopefully would not be offensive to anyone as I am not naming any names.
A few extra things had to be made to be added to the scene, such as a rug, and a few minor changes to my pre-existing models. Our group also added extras such as ceiling lights and door frames. Along with this, a few group members haven't been communicating very well with the rest of us, leaving us with no idea if they'd made any assets at all, and as we were approaching the point of coming to the polishing stage of the project before hand-in, we wanted to have all of the assets as finished as possible so we could work on lighting and effects, so me and a few group members took on the task of creating the missing assets originally assigned to others.
I started work on the photo-frames and others made a lamp and a sink, these are currently in our scene and we plan on replacing these if the original person assigned these assets eventually shows up and has them done, though it has been quite draining on us coping with the lack of communication and extra work, unfortunately it does seem like there are only a few of us who actually care about this project and have been working hard to get extra done, compared to some who haven't finished their original few assets.
Some progress images of the scene:

On the bright side, almost everything is textured, and it seems like we will have this final week to spend polishing and improving where we can.
Away from the group project, lectures and classes introduced us briefly to the new project that will be starting in the upcoming weeks, the sentry gun project, and showed us how we should be focusing on interation and creating as many different ideas and variants as possible.
I am looking forward to the next project as it seems as though we have a lot of creative freedom being given to us for this, and it will be nice to have my own time to manage and not have to worry about groups for a while. I'm also looking forward to doing some concepting! As we haven't been able to do so for the film room at all.
