It's been a year and unfortunately nothing has changed, I still suck at Life Drawing. Though I think I am starting to possibly see a little improvement since first year, but not much.
I haven't been practicing figure drawing as much as I'd like to be able to admittedly, though I am not sure if it would help as I life drawing is quite different to how I prefer to draw and I am still not used to drawing on a canvas, I much prefer to huddle up over my little sketchbook when sketching.
I have however been trying my best to measure things accurately, and I seem to be getting the heights a lot better now, I've found making strange measurements helps quite a lot, I leave a mark on the page for each head measurement, and leave a small label so I know what goes there, for example at the end of my second measurement I would write something such as "top of nipple" etc, and for the third, "belly button", or something along those lines, obviously differing on the person and their pose.
These are some of the drawings from my latest class.

While they are all still pretty damn terrible, I am happy that I am showing signs of improvement. Some examples of my even worse previous life drawings can be found here on my old blog for comparison: https://kmbyrne.wordpress.com/category/life-drawing/
I am hoping that I will continue to improve and will eventually be able to draw acurrate forms as it is something important in my work.
