Yr2 Week 3: Film Room progress update

The majority of this week on the film room project has been spent unwrapping and experimenting with PBR texturing using programmes such as Quixel, Bitmap2Material and putting them into Unreal. While I haven't made any final textures yet, I am starting to get the hang of this method of texturing, and have liked some of the outcomes I've achieved so far.
However there is one exception.. the shower curtain. For some reason Unreal doesn't support lighting properties on transparent objects, so you can have one or the other; a shiny bath curtain that isn't translucent and doesn't quite look like the correct material, or a transluscent dull and flat not shiny bath curtain. I haven't quite come to the conclusion which is worse yet, as they both seem to look remarkably odd.
This is a screenshot of my progression on texturing some of my assets, a few of the textures are not mine (the walls and also the metal texture on the taps/mirror/rail) and are there as placeholders, but the towel rack, bath and shower curtain I made myself, but am not 100% happy with yet.

I would also like to mention that there is a subtle hint of colour used in these textures, I plan to desaturate them all when I am happy with the values and look to match the film, but until then I am finding it more efficient and easy to texture in colour.
I hope to have texturing done by the end of next week, ready to put my assets together with the rest of my group and start working on any necessary changes that might need to be made.
